Join us as we officially launch the West Kootenay Fibreshed with an inspiring and thought-provoking event celebrating fibre, sustainability, and community connection!
We are thrilled to present a screening of The Nettle Dress—a powerful documentary that follows textile artist Allan Brown on a seven-year journey to transform nettles, gathered from the land, into a hand-crafted dress. This beautiful and deeply moving film is a testament to the intersection of art, nature, and sustainability.
